What's so bad about Quivering Blade?
I feel like Quivering Blade is not getting the attention it deserves. With only 4 strikes of adrenaline needed to activate, you can spam it multiple times and deal a healthy amount of damage. It's also an easy skill to cap, since it's almost a straight shot from the marketplace in factions. I checked wiki, and it does the exact same amount of damage as Dragon Slash, but you can spam it twice as many times! The only reason I can see why it's not being used is for it's one side effect: If it gets blocked, you're dazed. What's the big deal? "Condition. While Dazed, you take twice as long to cast Spells, and all your Spells are easily interrupted." I can see how this would be harmful if you're an ele or monk, but you're a warrior! You're fighting, not casting spells.

It's because once you use Dragon Slash it allows you to use a load of other high adrenaline sword skills. It's just a better elite than Quivering.

In short: Dragon Slash makes other non-elite skills better then Quivering Blade.
And doesn't Dragon Slash give any adrenaline skill 5 strokes of adrenaline, so also Dragon Slash itself?
If so, then Dragon Slash is even better spammable then Quivering Blade, because when QB gets blocked, you also need to wait 4 seconds before you can start recharging its adrenaline for another strike.

Does it really do that? I always thought that the adrenaline boost applied to other sword attacks. HOWEVER, if Dragon Slash really does partially recharge itself...well...then I may have to go and eat my foot.

^^ looks like you will. Dragon slash charges all adrenal attacks, including itself.
With luck and a Furious sword, it can fully recharge itself, too.
Simply put, Dragon Slash is better because it allows a sword warrior to cycle heavy-hitting, expensive sword attacks.
Crippling Slash is better because it lends a sword warrior more utility, as well as compacting a bar by removing the need for Sever.
Quivering's a filler skill, with a cute perk for W/N. Use it untill you cap one of the other two, then kiss it goodbye.

QB does work pretty well with Final Trust btw. Atleast in PvE.
Even tough there are still better skills to use as your Elite if you want to make use of FT.

Quivering Blade and Dragon Slash is like Cleave and Eviscerate. The former in both cases are generally considered the weaker one bu not because they are weak themselves, it's just that the other one is incredibly powerful
Kinda like comparing a big tank and a aircraft carrier (or maybe not)

Theres nothing wrong with it. I actually quite like it, more than alot of other Warrior elites out there. However, I just don't run it because I like to run builds with 5+ adrenaline skills, and as such Dragon Slash becomes much more powerful.

Minor error in this post; Dragon Slash feeds adrenaline to all adrenaline skills, not just attacks.

Hmm...so maybe DS is the choice if you're using other high adrenaline skills (galrath, final thrust etc.), but if you're using sever artery and gash along side energy skills...it seems that QB would be the better choice. Yay! QB is not entirely useless!!?

Nobody ever said it was useless, but DS is just better in most (if not all) situations.

DS is a much better choice if you have sever and gash on your skillbar. Sever and gash a target, use DS and jump to the next target fast to gash again. Without DS, you're stuck charging up the full cost each time.
Yay! QB loses again

I feel QB is at its best when you only got slots for running 1-2 attack skills...
